The time has come. This is the time when, in some areas of the northern hemisphere, the 2.005 harvest starts – finishing at the end of October. They are days full of hope but, at the same time, full of nerves. After all, the moment has come to gather in the work of a whole year.
Today I would like to recommend a very fresh, aromatic 2004 white wine to you, at its optimum moment for drinking.

SIGHT Holding the two wine glasses at the same height, tilt both through 45º against a white, matt background in order to appreciate different shades of colour.

A very brilliant straw yellow. Carbonaceous tang (due to the very small bubbles present in young wines as a result of fermentation) not detected.

SMELL

Very clean and fresh. On taking the wine to the nose, it opens – a sensation produced by the freshness. Regarding the types of aromas, we can appreciate fruity ones above all: hints of ripe apple, quince fruit with a background of pineapple. Then one can appreciate the floral aromas (white flowers) with a very well integrated somewhat vegetable final.
MOUTH

Perhaps what most catches one’s attention on taking this wine to the palate is its balance.
A dry entry, but with a trace of sweetness. Very oily, glyceric, with body (a sensation of fullness in the mouth). It maintains a trace of acidity which then disappears to give us a final pleasant bitter sensation. Quite long aftertaste and tactile sensations (once drunk, the inside of the cheeks are left with a taste).

SUMMARY
Three cheers for these kinds of wine. Clean wines with aromatic potential and with sensations on the palate and produced with local grape varieties. Hurrah for these non-globalised wines with their varieties that can provide us with more sensations.
